Starting the garden now. Got onion sets, and some spinach to start. Both of these can basically be started as soon as the ground can be worked.
Also have most of the fencing materials and am ready to work, I need to rototill my area one more time and then put all my raised beds together.
As I put those together I will post more pictures of my design. As you can see from the pics this area was completely grown over with grass (as a matter of fact I had to move my horshoe pits) This area was a garden from 1962 untill about 1997. After my grandfather got a little too old to maintain it it slowly was reclaimed by grass. Unfortunately he still used to receive bagged leaves from half the town and they too were reclaimed by Ma Nature (Thats why all the bits of plastic bags) Those plastic bags will all be removed and recycled. Wow what a job! Also my secondary spring is ready and full of water to start with irrigation, I will also collect rain water for irrigation as well. Stay tuned for more pics and info on the garden. ,,,Peace and Prosperity,,,Rich Gately
