A DIY Cucumber Trellis For Your Garden

Here is a short video on making and installing a cucumber trellis. we used simple 2″ x 2″ lumber to construct it and 5 foot garden fence stapled with poultry staples to secure the wire to the lumber. Very easy. Don’t forget to add corner braces to keep the frame stable.
We use regular untreated lumber for everything in our garden , Never use pressure treated lumber, in our opinion, it’s not good for you or the environment!

Then we planted Swiss Chard under it to provide some shade, and save some space by gardening vertically. After the Chard is done , sometimes we will put in a crop of spinach or lettuce under the trellis for some cooler weather in the fall.

We plan on adding some more video’s to our blog as time progresses, So be on the lookout for them !
Thanks for watching, please share it with your friends and remember to sign up for our feed and our newsletter.
